Credence By Penelope Douglas

HOT, WILD, DARK and DIRTY!! I don’t know why I put off reading this book for so long.  I LOVED IT and I want more!!  Yes, this book was emotional, and yes deeply taboo but somehow Penelope Douglas makes you care about every character, even when you’re unsure where it’s going.

Credence is definitely not your typical romance—it pushes boundaries, dives into complicated dynamics, and still manages to make you feel for these characters.  My advice if your on the fence about this book is to look past the description; it was not a trope I normally enjoy. I want you to know beforehand that this is a step-uncle. Jake and Tiernan’s father are stepbrothers. There is no blood relation here. Does that make it less cringe? Not really. But I had to remind myself that there is not only no blood relation.  Lets just say that scene with Kalab and Noah after the fire HOT!  I could of use a little more POVs of the the guys especial Kalab.

Overall I could not put this book down and lost many hours of sleep reading after midnight.
